Dungeon Gourmand — Delete Your Data

Dungeon Gourmand — Eliminar tus datos

Dungeon Gourmand has no account, so there is no account to delete. There are, however, three separate places data can sit — your device, your Google Play Games profile, and our crash and statistics records — and each is cleared in a different way. This page walks through all three.

Dungeon Gourmand is still in development and is not yet on Google Play. These steps describe the game as it will ship, and take effect with the first build released to testers.

1 · On your device

Everything the game knows about your hearth — the dragon, the party, the larder, your Gold, Scales and Map Fragments, the map you have uncovered, the Ledgers you have collected and your settings — is stored in the app's own private storage.

Uninstalling Dungeon Gourmand deletes all of it. If you would rather keep the app and start over, your phone's Settings → Apps → Dungeon Gourmand → Storage → Clear storage erases the same data. Both are immediate and neither can be undone.

If you are signed in to Google Play Games, a copy of your hearth also exists in your Google account, and step 2 is what removes it. Clearing the app on the device alone will restore that cloud copy the next time you sign in.

2 · Your Google Play Games profile

Your cloud save, your unlocked achievements and any leaderboard entries live in your Google Play Games profile, under your own Google account. We cannot delete them for you, but you can delete them yourself, for this game alone:

  1. Open the Play Games app.
  2. Go to Settings → Delete Play Games account data.
  3. Choose Delete individual game data, then pick Dungeon Gourmand.

That removes the game's saved data — which includes the cloud copy of your hearth — along with its achievements and scores. If you also still have the game installed, do step 1 as well, or the device copy will simply be uploaded again.

The same screen offers to delete your whole Play Games account data, across every game you have ever played. That is not needed here, and it cannot be undone.

3 · Crash reports and statistics

If the game has crashed on your device, a report was sent to Firebase Crashlytics. If you agreed to gameplay statistics, anonymous counts were sent to Firebase Analytics. Neither carries your name, your email address or your advertising ID — they are keyed to a Firebase installation identifier, which is not you.

Write to voltix.studios.gaming@gmail.com with Delete my Dungeon Gourmand data in the subject and we will delete the records associated with your installation.

Because those records carry no name to search on, please help us find them: either

  • send the message from a device that still has Dungeon Gourmand installed, or
  • tell us roughly when you played — the dates or the week are enough.

You can also switch statistics off for good from Settings → Ad Privacy inside the game, which stops anything further being collected.

What is not deleted, and why

  • Your purchase history. Purchases and subscriptions are processed and recorded by Google Play, not by us. Google keeps that record for tax and accounting reasons, and neither we nor you can delete it. It is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
  • What Google holds from serving you ads. That belongs to your Google account, not to this game. Manage or delete it from your Google Ad settings, where you can also reset or delete your advertising ID.
  • Aggregate statistics. Once a count has been folded into a total — how many parties cleared a given depth, say — there is no longer an individual record in it to remove. Nothing in those totals identifies anyone.

Retention

Crash reports are kept for up to 90 days. Gameplay statistics are kept for up to 14 months. Both are deleted automatically when that period ends, whether or not you ask — asking simply makes it sooner.

What the game collects in the first place, and what it does not.

Privacy Policy
